Keyblock was carved and dated Taisho 12 (1923). Trial prints delayed until 1927 (Narazaki). Edo-Tokyo Museum dated their trial prints to Showa 13 (1938).
Many early trial prints known, with different sky colours, and were unsealed.
The pink sky variant was first with publisher seal and seal dated to circa 1931.
